Looking back at the riveted pendant I made for Week 9 of my Diploma course where we learned how to do ‘cold connections’. This is where you join pieces together without the use of soldering. The course included both hinges and rivets, and I chose to make a flower pendant using brass and silver. I loved this technique, and have already used it several times since on other designs, including the ‘book locket’ final project I made!
