This could be the last red wolf you see. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service seeks to reduce the recovery area for the world’s only wild red wolves by 90% and limit the population to just 10-15. Moreover, the killing of any red wolf who leaves the newly-designated “recovery” area will be ‘explicitly permissible’. Does this sound like recovery?
