One year ago, we laid the foundations for our state-of-the-art 5G wafer fab in Dresden, Germany. A roughly 1 billion euro investment, the factory of the future is on track for completion by the end of this year. The first associates are due to start work on manufacturing semiconductors in early 2020. Semiconductors are the key technology for the IoT (Internet of Things) and the mobility of the future.
