TCD News on Instagram: "The long-vacant former Dearborn Hyatt is now deep into redevelopment, with work underway to convert the 18-story tower into 258 apartments and 216 hotel rooms. Plans include two new restaurants, a 16th-floor lounge, and residential units on floors 6–13. Built in the 1970s with 773 rooms, the hotel was once the second-largest in Michigan before deteriorating conditions led to its 2018 closure."

TCD News on Instagram: "Police in Dearborn Heights arrested a woman late Thursday night after she allegedly fired shots at a man who came to fight her son. Officers were called to the area of Westpoint and Colgate in the city’s south end for reports of gunfire. When they arrived, investigators found at least one shell casing at the scene. No injuries were reported. Dearborn Heights Police remained on-site as they continued to investigate the shooting."
