When I was rebuilding Helen, her transaxle was about the only thing I didn’t tear apart to rebuild. All I did was drain the old gear oil (that looked like it hadn’t been done in YEARS) put some fresh oil in, then planned to run it for a few thousand miles and see how she goes.
