For some reason this seems to be a hot button topic. Beeswax has its place… and slate that has been previously joined together with beeswax- will get beeswax. But... My preferred method is Bondo. Bondo gives me a rock-solid surface that won’t crack, shift, or soften when the room heats up. It locks those seams in so the ball rolls true every single time.
