Last thing to do before first start and cam break-in is to add some oil and make sure you can get oil pressure in the case! Had a little bit of trouble getting the timing dialed in, but a first start up video will be coming soon!! I’ll be using products from Driven Racing Oil on this engine. They have good stuff, formulated specific for classic flat tappet engines like this one. For cam break-in I’m using the GP-1 break-in 30 grade oil. High in zinc content.
