During Corkscrew’s Christmas Bird Count yesterday, our Senior Resource Manager came across this beautiful Eastern diamondback rattlesnake (Crotalus adamanteus) in the backcountry. This is an older individual, but at this time of year, one may across young snakes as females give birth to live young between August and September.
