In all the years I’ve grown zinnias, I’ve never had any destroyed by deer (and we get alot of deer!). Sunflowers, marigolds, phlox, tulips, etc.. all get eaten, trampled or yanked out. The zinnias remain untouched! I’ve even found that a thick zinnia “hedge” will keep them away from other plants! The clips at the end of the video show the deer using a path through my zinnias (the zinnias are taller than the deer!!), but they have never pushed through a row of fully grown zinnias.
