We're excited to announce that 35 burrowing owls from the park's Burrowing Owl Captive Breeding program will be released into the grasslands of the BC Interior today! The BC Wildlife Park is working towards saving the Burrowing Owl from extinction. They are currently a critically endangered species in BC. We are an active member of the Burrowing Owl Conservation Society of BC. Our goal is to achieve a stable and returning population of this migratory owl, habitat improvement and public education
