Executives for Xiaomi Automobile have confirmed plans to (eventually) start selling its EVs in new overseas markets, including Europe.

In an earnings call this week, company president William Lu told international media that Xiaomi Auto plans to enter the European EV market in 2027, having recently shared a photo of an SU7 on German plates to his Weibo account.

President Lu Weibing shed more light on the company’s expansion plans after reporting a 31% rise in quarterly revenue, riding the successful launch of its second EV over the summer. Xiaomi has previously described ambitions to go global,
