"I'm officially 3-for-3 on being fined by the WNBA," Fever guard Sophie Cunningham said on latest episode of her Show Me Something podcast.
In the second quarter, Sophie Cunningham was forced to exit the game when Sun player Bria Hartley fell awkwardly into her. Cunningham was standing under the basket playing defense while driving, Sun guard Bria Hartley fell into her lower left leg after making a pass.
Following season-ending injuries to guards Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald, Sophie Cunningham on Tuesday was ruled out for the remainder of the 2025 season with an MCL tear in her right knee. In addition, Caitlin Clark has missed more than a month with a right groin strain, and her status for the rest of the season remains in jeopardy.
