A Florida woman has been dubbed the 'new queen of the Everglades' after winning the 2025 Florida Python Challenge's grand prize for removing an impressive 60 invasive snakes from the Everglades.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has announced the results of the 2025 Florida Python Challenge, including ultimate grand prize winner Taylor Stanberry.

The annual competition to raise awareness and eliminate the invasive Burmese python was held July 10-20, 2025 in the Everglades.
