The singer-songwriter, who trained to be a K-pop idol before transitioning to songwriting, is finally getting her much-deserved moment in the spotlight thanks to the success of the Netflix animated film and its soundtrack.

KPop Demon Hunters director Maggie Kang already has material in mind for a potential sequel.

"KPop Demon Hunters' realistic depiction of various Korean cultures, including K-Pop and K-Food, went viral and is creating a global fandom," the company said in a statement.
