The 49ers wisely have some key veterans, most prominently Nick Bosa, Christian McCaffrey and Trent Williams, on schedules designed to keep them fresh and out of the fray from time to time. Rookie running back Corey Kiner has been waived by the San Francisco 49ers. Kiner, an undrafted free agent, has been one of the better performers for the 49ers in training camp. Unfortunately, he sustained an injury in the preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
