Gamescom had a flurry of announcements during the ONL presentation, but also glimpses of already-announced games, including the long-awaited sequel to Hollow Knight, Hollow Knight: Silksong. Taking on the role of Hornet this time around,

The only real disappointment to be had here is that we're not actually seeing any new content after such a long wait - no new bosses or enemies or characters or stories. So anyone looking to scour this new demo for clues as to what Silksong will be when it finally releases is probably not going to come up with much that we don't already know.

Beyond Switch 2, Hollow Knight: Silksong is also dropping for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, as well as Microsoft’s upcoming portables, ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. With a release window in sight, it’s probably a great time to play Hollow Knight.
