It’s been an action-packed summer for writer/director James Gunn, who follows his recent big-screen reboot of Superman with a fun second season of absurdist comic book caper, Peacemaker. The twist is that Peacemaker season two (Sky Max) is a distinct improvement on his exhaustingly enthusiastic Man of Steel do-over.

James Gunn ’s first phase of the DCU has always included John Cena ’s Peacemaker, but as we are still ahead of the character’s second season in his series, we don’t exactly know what the future holds for him.
