A fire has broke out on the USS New Orleans vessel off the coast of Okinawa, Japan, leaving two sailors with minor injuries.

At least 274 Philippine Coast Guard personnel were deployed to help boost security in key Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations, the PCG said yesterday.
