The successful Fallout series is set to return with its much-awaited Season 2, and after a long wait, we finally have a release date.

The second season releases its premiere on December 17th with weekly episodes to follow up until February 4th. “The new season will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas,” the show’s description reads.

"Fallout" season 2 is officially premiering on Prime Video on Dec. 17, 2025. This was announced during the Gamescom Opening Night Live livestream, with Prime Video announcing the season 2 release date alongside a new teaser trailer for the upcoming season.

Prime Video announced at GamesCom 2025 that Fallout Season 2 will premiere on December 17, 2025. Season 1 arrived in April 2024, making the gap between seasons a little more than 18 months. At a time when high-profile streaming shows can take years between releases, this is actually a pretty quick turnaround.
