The Chicago Bears and backup quarterback Tyson Bagent have agreed on a two-year contract extension that keeps him with the team through the 2027 campaign.

Bagent worked his way into the second-string position in 2024 and has since established himself as a solid backup for the Bears organization. Ben Johnson and the rest of the staff have been impressed with the young passer's skills, leading to his two-year, $10 million extension.
