PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — Excessive rainfall prompted weather and traffic alerts on Tuesday evening in South Florida. In coastal and metropolitan Miami-Dade and Broward counties, there was a rip current statement in effect until 8 p.m., and a flood watch in effect until 10 p.m.
