A Burmese python nest of 111 eggs is the largest ever discovered in Florida, wildlife officials said. It was removed from the Everglades this month.
This nest was 111 eggs. Brandon Rahe, a contractor with the FWC’s Python Action Team, needed a boat to reach the nest, which was well hidden in a hallow of dead grass and weeds.
