Jacksonville's NWS issues high rip current risk warning for Northeast Florida beaches through Saturday evening.

Increased surf and dangerous rip currents are expected to continue along the eastern seaboard as Hurricane Erin moves into the North Atlantic.

It will be another day of scattered showers and thunderstorms in parts of Central Florida, as well as a windy day. Along the beaches, there is still a risk of dangerous surf and rip currents due to Hurricane Erin.

The Orlando National Weather Service warns of rough weather in Florida with a High Surf Advisory and high rip current risks. Thunderstorms and showers are likely, with heavy rainfall possible inland into early next week.
