An al-Qaeda terrorist who plotted to bomb Bluewater shopping centre went before the Parole Board this week in a fresh bid for freedom. Salahuddin Amin was part of a five-strong al-Qaeda cell jailed for life in 2007 for planning a wave of UK bombings using chemical fertiliser devices. Amin was given a minimum term of 17 and a half years and was last refused parole in 2024, when the board ruled he may still pose a danger to the public. He was also refused a transfer to an open prison at that time.

A woman has died after she was found unresponsive inside an Amazon delivery vehicle in Florida. Deputies were called around 7:20 Monday night after someone reported that the delivery van had been sitting in the same spot for an unusually long time. When deputies arrived, they found the woman unresponsive inside the vehicle. #amazon #delivery #florida #discovery
