Kyle Busch was hard at work preparing for the Coca-Cola 600 before his shocking death Thursday.

Kyle Busch died after severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications, according to a statement released by his family.

Busch was doing well enough to win a NASCAR Truck Series race at Dover and then seemingly continued with his normal routine.
